Launching Slovak Language AI Hub

Slovak Language AI Hub (SLAIH) is here. It was created in response to a need that many in the Slovak NLP ecosystem feel – there is no central place where researchers, developers, and companies can find datasets, models, and benchmarks for Slovak in one place.

The goals of SLAIH are:

• improve the availability of NLP resources for Slovak
• support transparent model comparison
• gradually build an overview of the Slovak AI ecosystem

In the first version of the site, you will find a curated catalog of the most interesting available resources and results from three benchmarks – skLEP, SkMTEB, and Speech-to-Text – which allow comparing multiple types of models on Slovak.

This is just the beginning. We plan to expand the catalog, add more ecosystem actors, and gradually build a space where Slovak NLP can grow together.
